Transport Manager
Job Description
Iain Smith Transport is a family run UK & European general haulage / bulk liquid transporter.
We require a Transport Manager International CPC Holder.
Key responsibilities,
Assist with the day to day planning of vehicles and the management of the transport operation.
Ensure Operator licence undertakings are complied with.
Vehicle maintenance & servicing is carried out to required standards..
Drivers hours rules & regulations are adhered to.
Driver card & vehicle unit data is analyzed.
Operating systems such as Tachomaster & Stirling.
Assist with vehicle planning and scheduling of ferry crossings where appropriate.
Be able to maintain strong customer relations.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
