Transport Manager - Bristol

We're looking for a Transport Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep things moving -- efficiently, safely, and compliantly.

Our busy Bristol transport operation is the beating heart of our business, running a fleet of 10 commercial vehicles (plus a few company cars). We need a manager who's as strategic as they are hands-on -- someone who can lead a team, plan routes, and make the tough calls that keep performance on track.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience as a Transport Manager -- you know the ropes and the roads. Strong leadership and communication skills -- confident, clear, and collaborative. A solid understanding of multi-drop distribution and the demands that come with it. Full grasp of compliance, FORS, and safety standards -- non-negotiable. A calm, proactive attitude when things get busy (because they will). Bonus: Lorry Loader experience.

What You'll Do

Oversee and allocate work for our fleet, from daily briefings to route planning. Maintain compliance and champion a positive HSE culture. Drive continuous improvement -- efficiency, safety, and service are your priorities. Keep our fleet clean, compliant, and performing at its best. Liaise with warehouse and production managers to keep everything seamless. Manage the admin side: rotas, holidays, disciplinaries, and driver records.
