Burke Bros Moving Group is an established removals, storage and shipping company and we are looking for an experienced
Transport Manager
to lead and run our fleet and transport operation.This role is for a people focused leader who understands that in the moving industry, success comes from well led crews, not just well-run vehicles.
The Role
Full responsibility for a fleet of 16 trucks and vans in a busy removals operation Lead, manage and support drivers and porter crews Ensure full O-Licence compliance Manage maintenance, inspections, MOTs and servicing Oversee transport planning, routing and vehicle utilisation Monitor driver hours, tachographs and legal compliance Improve efficiency, reduce downtime and service quality Coach, develop and set standards across the transport and moving teams
You Must Have
Valid International CPC / International Operator's Licence
Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar Strong transport planning and fleet management background Good knowledge of UK transport compliance A calm, professional and supportive leadership style Experience in removals or logistics operations preferredWe Offer
