Summary

We are seeking a Transport Manager to join our dynamic team in Minworth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of our high-quality products. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.

WORKING HOURS

- Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm - paid lunch breaks

Responsibilities

Route Planning

- Working out all of the routes for each individual drivers.

Customer Liaison

- Speak with customers about up-coming deliveries and develop relationships.

Driver Management

- Liaise with Drivers throughout the day to ensure that all is going to plan. Along with managing driving hours, working hours etc..

Fleet Management

- Keep on top of the MOT`s, Services & Repairs for fleet of 27 vehicles. Ensuring cost analysis is being completed.

Safety Checks / Tacho Inspections

- Ensure that all safety inspection and Tacho Graf submissions are being recorded.

Driver Recruitment

- Handle Driver recruitment, training & risk assessments, and ensure drivers have correct licences to comply with legislation.

Cost Control -

Manage budgets for fuel, maintenance and overall transport operations.

Proven experience in transport management or logistics roles.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in communication with a focus on customer service.

Pay: 33,000.00-40,000.00 per year
