CPC-qualified Transport Management responsibilities

with

Class 1 (C+E) tramping cover driving

Duties

This is a unique opportunity to split your time between:

Transport Manager Duties

Manage daily transport operations and ensure efficient, timely delivery of goods. Oversee and support a team of drivers. Develop and implement strategies to optimise driver retention & performance Maintain full compliance with DVSA, O-Licence, and safety regulations. Monitor vehicle maintenance and defect reporting. Maintain records and reports using MS Office and transport management systems. Monday - Friday Hybrid working

Driving Duties (Cover Tramper)

Traction-only work: drop & swap trailers between fulfilment centres. Pre-planned routes, average 3 trailer swaps per shift. Perform daily walkaround checks & defect reporting. Maintain compliance with driving hours and tachograph regulations. Cover tramping shifts when required (Sun-Thurs/Fri).

Experience

Must have Transport Manager CPC qualification. At least 12 months documented experience. Proven experience in driving and logistics management is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Basic IT skills and computer literacy are required for record keeping and reporting tasks.
