Alliance Flooring Distribution Ltd is the leading distributor of flooring products throughout the UK. We have Distribution centres based across the UK and are now looking to strengthen our team. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Office Manager in our Hemel team.
The role of a Transport Office Manager is to ensure our drivers are managed to support the Alliance operation in the most efficient way possible. You will stay up to date on driver compliance.
Responsibilities
Checking of all infringements
Using Vison to record / update driver compliance
To report on any accidents / incidents
Any other duties as required
Manage the drivers and ensure they are compliant with legislation
Working on KPIs from National Transport Manager
Qualities
Excellent commination skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Demonstrate ability to make decisions.
Good time management skills.
The ability to work alone
Self-motivated
