Position Summary:
Operator Licence Holder for the site with overall accountability for the Transport operation ensuring the operation remains compliant in line with our obligations, you will build and execute budget requirements for department and actively drive a Culture of Care within the operation to ensure a people first approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure a "Zero is Possible" approach to safety in embedded within the operation and the Transport team are trained and conversant in all aspects of Health and Safety
Ensure the operation always remains legally compliant in line with our Operator's Licence obligations and all conditions and undertakings attached to the licence
Ensure Martin Brower policies and procedures are implemented and followed
Develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation with the transport operation with the aim to be best in class
Establish a "Culture of Care" approach to the team and demonstrate MB's company values are at the forefront of every decision made
Plan and manage resources accordingly to ensure budgets are not only met but exceeded where possible
Build relationships with wider business areas to ensure communication flows through the transport operation including HR, Product Supply, IT, Customer Services and the Customer
Consistently develops their own skills and knowledge through courses and conferences to ensure they stay up to date with legislation relating to Transport
Ensure all audits, external and internal are passed and the department is audit ready at all times
Qualifications:
Technical Competencies
:
C.P.C Holder including 2 year refreshers
Experience with WMOS systems and scheduling including Paragon knowledge
Aware of all current and pending industry legislation and developments
Good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office
