Transport Operator

Days (4 On 4 Off (06:00-18:00))

We currently have an exciting role for a Transport Operator, providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Leeds site. The role works nights, working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and offers excellent rates of pay.

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the Transport and Warehouse teams, ensuring drivers are fully briefed and have been issued with the correct paperwork to complete their run. Also ensuring all documentation is legally compliant and input onto the systems, accurately and efficiently and in a timely manner. The role is also responsible for ensuring all company vehicles and trailers including external haulers vehicles are checked both inbound and outbound and check sheets completed and signed as per the company process.

As a transport Operator, you will be:

The first point of contact for drivers when they are in the transport office Driver briefing and debriefing Reporting discrepancies/late running etc Keeping traffic system up to date Involved in handover to the transport team Supporting vehicle checks to ensure company policies are being adhered to Accurately recording transport data Assisting in making maintenance bookings
