Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of our van drivers who deliver kitchen products to residential addresses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing routes, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for van drivers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of kitchen goods to customers' homes. Monitor driver performance, including adherence to schedules and customer service standards. Liaise with customers & kitchen fitters to coordinate delivery times and address any delivery-related issues or concerns. Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer interactions. Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of goods onto delivery vehicles. Implement and maintain best practices in logistics planning to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Transport Planner or similar role in logistics or transportation, preferably within the home delivery sector. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Proficiency in using transportation management software and GPS systems. Good all round I.T skills to use multiple systems Knowledge of legal regulations and safety standards in transportation.
