Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Transport Planner & New Business Development Manager with expertise in walking floor logistics and a solid understanding of the waste and recycling sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our transport strategies while driving new business initiatives to expand our market presence.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective transport planning strategies, particularly focusing on walking floor trailers and their applications in waste management.

- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the waste and recycling sector, building strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities in waste logistics and recycling services.

- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to potential clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams to design innovative transport solutions that meet client needs.

- Monitor and assess the performance of transport operations, providing insights for continuous improvement.

- Stay informed of industry regulations, practices, and innovations related to waste management and recycling.

Qualifications:

- Must have experience or qualifications in Transport Planning, Logistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Extensive experience in transport planning and business development, specifically with a focus on walking floor logistics.

- Strong knowledge of the waste and recycling sector, including current challenges and emerging trends.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits as required.
