We are working with a local authority situated in the North West in their search for either a Transportation Project Manager with the skillset to be able to assist the Strategic Transport Planning Manager.
You'll be responsible for actively aiming to deliver the Strategic Transport Planning's team active travel schemes. In doing so you'll be preparing business cases for funding to provide the ability to be able to carry out the authority's schemes that aim to get people out of their cars and make use of passenger transport.
Working closely with the wider Transport Strategy team, your direct responsibility will be to develop and deliver the projects and schemes, whilst embedding key principles and policies into the programs. In order to ensure these get delivered in light of the local authorities' objectives (local plan) - you'll be responsible for bidding for funding.
- This role lands inside IR35, contracted for 6 months initially.
- Hybrid working, office presence 2-3x a month
