, and take the next step in your career as a Transport Scheduling Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating vehicle collections while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring we meet client expectations.




What you'll be doing



In this role, you will:



Arrange the collection of accident-damaged vehicles, contacting policy holders and garages while following GDPR guidelines. Confirm and negotiate any applicable charges, ensuring accurate records are kept and value for money is achieved. Liaise with garages, accident repair centers, and clients to confirm payment methods, update databases, and gain approval for charges. Work closely with the Vehicle Collection Scheduling team to ensure all collections are booked within agreed SLAs. Take ownership of your allocated collection area, providing daily updates and highlighting any issues. Keep all files up to date, ensuring driver notes and client records are accurately maintained. Support with general office tasks including enquiries, data entry, scanning, and filing. Handle queries from customers, suppliers, and the public in a professional and timely manner. Complete additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.

What we're looking for



Strong IT skills with confidence using databases and systems. A professional and confident telephone manner. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Comfortable negotiating charges while maintaining professionalism. A collaborative team player with a positive "can-do" attitude. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
