Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 4.30am & 12.00pm finish

We're now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage the daily plan to deliver volumes on time whilst hitting operational KPI's Direct the daily activity to ensure a safety and transport compliance standards are met. Manage all disciplinary & grievances in line with HR policy Support the planning function, including providing holiday and sickness cover for the transport planner Deliver team performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as required Specific functional responsibilities (e.g. Fleet maintenance, Working Time legislation etc) tacho-master, fuel ice, microlise Develop, implement and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers Implement, monitor & control Health & Safety action plan for the department ensuring in line with site plan Escalate/justify any tacho infringements falling outside of legislation/company policy Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve! Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

A minimum of one year experience in a transport office as a supervisor or above Knowledge of Working Time Legislation & EU Driving Legislation Hold an International CPC Qualification - desirable Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
