We are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to work in our busy Bristol Transport Department, someone who is driven, focused, customer orientated as well as commercially & industry aware. A good geographical knowledge is essential along with previous experience of multi drop distribution. Experience in compliance and FORS is desirable.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic transport team helping to take the business forward and promote organic growth furthering their own career along the way. They would be expected to communicate with a wide and diverse group of stakeholders essential to the smooth running of the business. A hands on approach is a must to work alongside our drivers therefore experience in a similar field is essential for this role.

Our ideal candidate must be of strong character and be able to work independently and as a key part of our existing transport team. Attention to detail, with strong planning and organisational skills is a must along with excellent time and work management.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can adapt quickly to change, someone who is proactive & self-motivated who can work under pressure whilst producing work of a high standard.

This role would be to assist the Transport Manager in allocating work for 25 commercial vehicles of varying size as well as a small fleet of company cars. This would include briefing and de-briefing of drivers, assisting with the raising purchase orders, record keeping and occasional assistance in disciplinary procedures. You will also required to support with compliance issues and booking PMI's.
