Transport Team Leader - Slough

Key Responsibilities




Leading a team to successfully deliver your KPI's and drive business performance.

Promote Delifresh Values in you're and your teams' behaviours

You will coach, develop and lead your team and establish a continuous improvement culture.

Working alongside the leadership teams to ensure a smooth and slick operation across the site.

Take ownership of your decisions and team culture

Ensure compliance with all business systems including, tachomaster, kronos, Samsara & Issac

Make sure all company policies, procedures & processes are upheld

Work with the transport supervisor on any vehicle issues

Participate in route scheduling and telematics analysis

Manage people fairly, respectfully and seek out opportunities to improve engagement

Participate in people processes such as investigation, WBTW's & training



About You






As well as tons of resilience you must have:


Experience of a Warehouse, Logistics or Transport Management or equivalent

The ability to coach and encourage your team and help them explore opportunities to continuously improve how they do their job

The ability to problem solve, and implement process changes in order to improve operational performance.

Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop teams with varying skill sets.

Be flexible and hardworking

Salary: 35,500.00 per annum
