Transport Traffic Office Apprentice

will get hands-on experience across the traffic office and wider operations, learning how the different parts of our logistics business fit together to deliver for our customers.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-life skills in transport planning, customer service, operations and compliance -- with the option to spend time in the warehouse and other departments if you're keen to see the full picture of the Group.

What you'll do



Learn how consignments are processed, entered into systems and tracked from collection to delivery Support the traffic office team with planning, administration and driver communication Assist with driver pre-briefs and de-briefs, gaining insight into day-to-day transport operations Work alongside Customer Service to understand how we communicate with customers and resolve queries Shadow the Operations team to see how vehicles, drivers and routes are managed in real time.... even going out on delivery days with drivers! Gain exposure to compliance processes such as drivers' hours and vehicle checks Have opportunities to spend time in the warehouse and other Group functions to broaden your knowledge. See and help a modern logistics company continue to implement AI, electric and autonomous vehicles and other exciting tech!

What we're looking for



A positive attitude, eagerness to learn and good attention to detail Strong communication skills and confidence working in a team Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems An interest in transport, logistics or supply chain as a career GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are preferred but not essential No prior industry experience needed -- just enthusiasm and commitment
