The Role:
As a key part of the Transport Team, you will work collaboratively with both internal & external stakeholders to deliver the right results.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet coordination.
Strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in transport management software and ERP systems
Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Forward thinking and planning, high attention to detail

Ensure all company equipment is maintained and managed effectively.
Control the intake, handling and despatch of loads, ensuring stock is controlled, stored in an organised manner.
Strive to eliminate waste at every step - (transport, inventory, motion, waiting etc).
Follow the Company's 'Clean As You Go' policy at all times ensuring a clean and tidy production environment as well as ensuring compliance from members within your team.
Prosperity
Identify areas for cost savings and efficiencies in the Logistics operation, recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
Manage assets to include pallets and trays to ensure that the business operates efficiently.
Identify and report poor performance and fraud promptly, reducing losses to the business.
Be responsible and accountable for the department's KPI's, striving for continuous improvement.
Working with the Transport Manager, identify any staffing or equipment requirements to ensure the operational needs of the business are met.
