About the Service
Children's Services provide a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people, helping them to reach their potential. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks. This often requires close working with various stakeholders such as parents and carers, schools, health services, police and voluntary organisations. These are sensitive areas of work that are of significant importance to the community.

You will work collaboratively with team members to provide a high-quality, efficient support service that contributes to improving outcomes for children. This includes performing more complex clerical and finance duties, with a priority on ensuring all correspondence from families and partners are answered within agreed timescales. Day to day, your duties will vary depending on service requirements, and you will play a key role in providing a responsive support to the team, adapting as needs arise. We continuously seek ways to improve customer satisfaction, and you will work with the team to implement improvements and maintain a consistent approach across the service.
