This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Due to the beautiful remote location, access to your own transport is essential. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 + bonus
About the role:
As a part of our marketing team, you will be a core driver of our success. This role creates and delivers captivating copy that inspires and broadens our audience. Areas of responsibility are:
Content creation: develop captivating copy for various channels, including website pages, brochures, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, Inntraveller magazine, advertisements, customer communications and travel documents.
Brand voice: maintain consistency in brand tone of voice across all written communications, ensuring alignment with our company's vision, mission, values, and tone of voice guidelines.
Storytelling: craft engaging narratives that evoke emotions, paint vivid pictures, and effectively communicate the allure of travel destinations and experiences to our target audiences.
SEO optimisation: incorporate relevant keywords and follow best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance content visibility and drive organic traffic to our website.
Research: conduct thorough research on travel destinations, industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis to produce accurate, compelling, and up-to-date content.
Editing and proof reading: review and revise written content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to our brand guidelines.
Collaboration and feedback: collaborate closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and the product team to ensure cohesive messaging and effective visual-textual integration. Accept and action feedback to improve the final output.
Content strategy: contribute to content and campaign strategy discussions, brainstorming sessions, and creative development meetings to shape marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Travel expertise: stay informed about emerging travel trends, destinations, and experiences, fostering a deep understanding of our target audience and their interests.
Be a brand ambassador: building a brand that is understood and loved by customers.
Be strategic: take a step back and keep us on track to achieve our long-range plan.
Growth mindset: look for tangible ways to raise the profile of the brand and build
beneficial networks for Inntravel within the Hotelplan UK group and with external partners.

Experience of writing captivating and accurate copy that consistently reflects a brand's tone of voice, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission and values.
Experience writing for different channels, such as brochures, websites, social, and emails, with the ability to tailor messaging to the needs of particular channels and audiences.
Ability to proof read and edit copy with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.
Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Experience of developing ideas and owning delivery of projects.
A marketing qualification or experience of working in a marketing team.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard office technologies.
A love of written communication.
Experience writing about travel or holidays is desirable.
A personal interest in travel, walking or cycling is desirable.
Experience of writing for SEO will be an advantage.
