P C Coaches of Lincoln Ltd is Lincolnshire's largest independently owned bus and coach operator, proudly serving the community for 45 years. With depots in Lincoln, Horncastle, Louth, and Grimsby, we specialize in a variety of transportation services including school contracts, local bus services, private hires, and our own coach holiday program.

We are looking to recruit a Travel Courier on an ad-hoc basis for some of our 2026 continental and UK tours. You will act as a liaison between our company and the travellers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience, supported by the tour driver.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet & Greet: greeting passengers, verifying documents, checking seat allocations, and handling passports for continental trips.

Customer Service: addressing passenger enquiries, resolving issues, and providing general assistance throughout the tour

Announcements and Information: providing updates about the journey via the coach PA system, scheduled stops, and points of interest about the general areas we are visiting or travelling through.

Hospitality: offering beverages for sale on board the coach as and when required during transit

General Support: in addition to the tour driver, you will be the other main point of contact for passengers, offering information about the destination, and ensuring a positive travel experience

Essential Qualities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Organised and efficient with the ability to multi-task

Problem-solving skills

Patience, empathy and a friendly demeanour

Flexibility

Experience of cash handling

Desirable Qualities

Good knowledge/interest of geography of the UK, and preferably Europe

An interest in, and experience of, travelling throughout the UK and Europe

Ability to do own research prior to the tour

Requirements

Must be 18 or over

Must have a valid passport

This is a self employed role; candidate to submit invoices for tours worked

Remuneration

Rates of pay will be calculated on a daily basis to cover all tour days worked, (plus half board accommodation) Daily rate will depend on experience, and is negotiable
