Job Title: Travel Health Immunisation Nurse - Bank

Reporting to: MD

Remuneration: 20 per hour

Contract: Casual Worker/Bank

Location: Glasgow

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

An expanding and people focused company, UK Health Enterprises via its brand Emcare, provides an accessible, friendly travel health clinic which provides a comprehensive travel health service for all types of traveller.

This position offers the opportunity to join our team of vaccinators in our busy clinic in Glasgow City Centre to deliver services for NHS and private clients.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number with current clinical experience in a health care setting. The role requires the individual to be highly organised with the ability to manage clinic workload with excellent time management skills.

In addition to our travel clinic, we run a successful training business with the potential opportunity to get involved delivering healthcare training courses.

The successful candidate would:

Carry out risk assessments and administer travel vaccinations including Hep A, Typhoid, DTP, Cholera To provide the delivery of high quality travel advice according to the clients destination Work to ensure the success of the clinic in compliance with clinic protocols and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number Travel Medicine qualification or experience is desirable but full training will be provided Clinical experience of delivering vaccinations is essential Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
