Mayfield School is a Catholic independent boarding and day School for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, in the village of Mayfield in East Sussex. We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our support team. This role is integral to the function of the school, co-ordinating all travel requirements for both students and educational visits. They will also supervise the School Office and its administration staff including Reception.
Main responsibilities:
To work with both internal stakeholders and external providers on School travel requirements including educational visits and travel at the beginning and end of term.
To ensure compliance with requirements for all staff and students when travelling abroad.
To lead the School Office administration team in the provision of support to the Senior Leadership Team, colleagues, parents, students and visitors.
To introduce systems to enable effective and efficient working practices across the team.
We are looking for candidates who are:
Experienced in working at a senior level in an administrative role, including managing members of staff
Confident in managing software systems and creating processes
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Familiar with logistics/travel-co-ordination, such as working with travel and VISA requirements, ideally EVOLVE and Vectare though this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Able to work on their own and as part of a team
Detail orientated and able to work to deadlines
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
