The Treasury Analyst (Graduate) is a new role within the Group Treasury team, consisting of 9 people and forms part of the Group Finance function. Based out of IFS' Staines office and reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst (Graduate) assists with preparing and delivering a number of key daily, weekly and monthly treasury processes, and also supports the global treasury team with various treasury front office and operational activities.

Responsibilities:



Responsible for the preparation and distribution of daily cash balance reporting to senior management. Responsible for the daily actuals vs forecast reconciliation process within IFS's Treasury Management System (Kyriba), and associated cash positioning / surplus cash investment decisioning (under the oversight of the Treasury Manager). Prepare / investigate weekly actuals vs forecast variance reporting from prior week's 17-week cashflow forecast. Execute foreign exchange instruments (Spot, Forwards and Swaps) to manage currency cash positioning, funding, hedging and investment requirements (under the oversight of the Treasury Manager). As an online banking administrator, support various required user updates (I.e., new users, user right changes, user account changes). Support relationships with market units regarding local cash and banking requirements. Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Treasury Report. Support the maintenance and enhancement of the treasury management system (Kyriba). Drive further automation, identification of trends and variance analysis. Support the team on ad hoc projects and various treasury operational activities.

Required Competence:



Must be a confident communicator with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously within a small team, sharing knowledge and ideas. Highly flexible and collaborative personality. Focus on attention to detail and proactivity are essential. Willingness to deliver in a fast paced, transformational environment driving change and continuous improvement with a positive attitude and critical mindset.

Required Education & Experience:



Essential:



Bachelor's degree within a Maths, Business Management or Finance related degree, graduated with at least a 2:1 grade or above. Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Desirable

:

Intern placement experience within a large / global organization. Comfortable analyzing data in Excel and creating PowerPoint presentations. Some form of prior work or social experience in a finance orientated role. * Knowledge or interest of Corporate Treasury activities.
