Treasury Analyst



Leicester (hybrid working)




Responsible for maintaining cash flow models, understanding actual cash flows and processing payments through banking systems. Ensuring processes follow control framework and documented best practice. Support Treasury manager in managing working capital levels, meeting bank covenants and control over banking systems. Support management accounting teams with cash related balance sheet reconciliations.

Key responsibilities:

Updating cash flow forecasts and comparing actuals to forecast. Complying with financial regulations and standards in all areas of treasury management. Working closely with treasury manager to align treasury activities with the overall financial strategy. Enter payments into banking systems and support payment runs initiated in the business (ie. AP/ Payroll). Support with onboarding of new bank accounts Update banking access and mandate in line with the delegation of authority.

Skills & experience:



Experience in cash management processes and basic accounting. Understanding of banking operations, including different payment types and systems. Excellent analytical skills and experience in reporting on variances to forecast. Enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential Reliability responsible and dependable. Take ownership of your work. Team player works as part of a team to achieve a common goal. Attention to detail job requires being accurate in interpreting and challenging data. Good communication skills gives timely updates to Manager and wider stakeholders.
