We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a
Treasury FX Controller (FTC 6 months with option to extend) to work in a truly global environment as part of the Corporate Treasury team. You will be responsible for supporting a large ongoing transformation project to centralise and streamline the Treasury / FX strategy. This is a very exciting time to join ED&F Man within a high performing team in the fast-paced commodity trading industry.
The ideal candidate will bring strong a treasury and FX background, with project experience to design, test and implement new systems and processes. The position is based from our London headquarter, initially offered as a 6-month FTC, with the opportunity to extend or become permanent.

Key Accountabilities
Manage an FX run book to build and manage relationships with various stakeholders across multiple Business Units and locations.
Create and manage effective FX hedging strategies, contributing to the re-design of the FX end to end process.
Drive standardization for operational process controls in relation to Treasury related topics.
Work closely with the Treasury Operations team to provide an efficient and modern FX execution and settlement service.
Work closely with Operations and Transformation teams to build and execute test cases and overall implementation plan.
Reviewing current capabilities and processes, documenting gaps and inefficiencies to identify practical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and embed operational models that support treasury transformation goals.
Drive functional design of Treasury Management Systems (mainly FXALL) in a business-integrated context.
Manage, track and resolve risks, issues and dependencies, escalating to senior management alongside management.
Derive FX hedging strategies to minimize risk and monitor for effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
Strong FX or Treasury experience in trading including back office settlement processes.
Degree educated in a relevant subject area, or comparable experience is also sufficient.
Experience of managing minor currencies without mainstream quotes.
Operational experience with FXALL and building portfolios, workflows and authorization within it.
Previous experience with Treasury Management Systems, preferably Kyriba but other applications will be sufficient.
Strong preference to have worked previously on FX implementation projects.
Ability to work cross-functionally and across various locations.
Strong communication, problem solving and good attention to detail.
