The Role
We are looking for a Treasury FX Liquidity Analyst to join our rapidly growing Treasury department. This role will support our Finance Director/Head of Treasury in building out and leading the FX Cash Management function in order to strengthen our Core. With new products and services such as DCC, Issuing, Open Banking and building systems to improve our processes, this role is absolutely critical to ensuring our customers get paid and on time.
Based in our London office, 4 days a week.
What you will do...
Monitor daily cash balances and positions across multiple bank accounts and currencies.
Execute intercompany and account funding to manage liquidity surpluses and deficits.
Perform bank reconciliations- investigating and resolving failed and unmatched transactions.
Prepare and analyze daily cash flow forecasts, identifying potential liquidity risks and opportunities.
Execute spot, forward, and swap FX transactions to hedge currency risks and facilitate cross-currency funding, in accordance with the company's FX policy.
Reconcile FX trades and ensure accurate settlement.
Analyze market movements and their impact on FX positions and liquidity.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of treasury processes, systems, and controls.
Implement new policies and relevant standards, guidelines and procedures for internal regulatory compliance.
Supporting audit requests- saving down bank statements and providing additional transaction detail.
Partner with the rest of the business and other cross-functional teams to work on driving process improvements and wider projects initiatives.
What you will bring...
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
Previous experience in a treasury, finance, or risk management role, with direct exposure to foreign exchange and liquidity management is desirable.
Solid understanding of financial instruments, derivatives (especially FX), money market products, accounting practices and working capital.
A genuine interest in global financial markets and macroeconomics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions.
