This is an entry level role within Marex's Group Treasury department. The role requires an ambitious and motivated individual who is looking to develop in a fast-paced environment and take on increasing responsibilities as their skill set grows. This role will include on the job training across all Treasury Operations aspects of Cash Management and Payments. The role also offers cross-training and broader appreciation of related Treasury Operations functions to include Securities Settlements & Reconciliations, Exchange & Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger Postings and Systems Administration.


Responsibilities:




Performing Group Nostro Bank reconciliations (Cash at Banks) on a daily basis and the escalation process Co-ordinating across teams to manage and investigate queries related to Treasury Operations including, KYC, breaks queries, General Ledger mis-postings Daily reconciliation of FX balances and processing of daily FX settlements Daily reconciliation of Term Deposits and Non-Cash Collateral held with Clearing Houses/Exchanges Client SSI Management within the PeopleSoft system Systems administration and process management including Online Banking portals and PeopleSoft Static data Management Management of swift payments Appreciation of settlements and posting of all Securities Ensuring compliance with the company's authorisation Appreciation of the Cash Balancing & Cash Management Role which reconciles cash positions with Brokers/Exchanges Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with. Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values. At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct

Skills and Experience:




Finance -based educational background and/or Experience within a finance-based role (Preferred). Basic understanding of Accounting Principles Experience using Microsoft office i.e. Excel and Word A willingness to learn and adapt and to be able to work in a fast-paced environment is vital, as there is a lot to learn and we are a small team, therefore there will be a lot of cross training and covering of other roles. Knowledge of Swift Standards and/or Security Settlements (Preferred) Team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
