-The Group Treasury function enables Anglo American to achieve its strategic ambitions by delivering financing, financial risk and cash management services to the organisation, whilst maintaining the highest standards of control and compliance, and providing a workplace of the future to develop and retain talent.


This role will be responsible for completing all regular reporting tasks to support the Group Treasury function, including monitoring and reporting on governance and compliance activities.





Key Responsibilities include:



Compile, review and circulate regular reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, as required) providing meaningful insights on all aspects of Group Treasury activities Provide reporting on process performance targets, KPIs, benchmarks and performance measures to drive standardisation and the adoption of best practice governance, process and controls across Group treasury teams in all locations Support with the update and maintenance of the Group Treasury policies Engage with system vendors and service providers to develop enhancements to treasury reporting tools to meet the Group's requirements Support the Treasury Manager in scheduling regular governance forum meetings, prepare minutes and follow up on agreed actions Ensure that all relevant controls are appropriately applied in all treasury processes and that requisite evidence is produced and retained in accordance with relevant protocols Monitor the ongoing application of controls to ensure compliance with all requirements Ensure all processes remain compliant with the Group Treasury Policy Support the Treasury Manager with the preparation and coordination for the annual and half yearly control attestation process

Qualifications
-o Graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably Finance, Accounting or similar

Technical Knowledge:



Proven track record and appropriate post qualification industry related experience in financial accounting and treasury Knowledge of reporting tools and experience analysing data such as PowerBI preferable Treasury Systems experience and knowledge of treasury processes and controls in a large global company preferable Electronic banking systems experience preferable Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with colleagues in financial institutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills would be an advantage


Technical Ability :



Accuracy in numerate skills and a close attention to detail are important for the role Prioritising and working effectively to meet tight deadlines Strong skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including to an audience whose first language may not be English Ability to learn quickly Work quickly to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
