Position.



As DMM's Tree Care Technical Sales representative you will be responsible for maintaining and growing DMM's presence in the Tree Care market.

With a strong focus on sales, you will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to support business growth. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts, customer relationship management, and data-informed decision-making.

The role will involve meeting clients and partners at their premises, attending product demonstrations, conferences and events. The role will primarily be based in the UK but will also require some international travel to support the brand both at events and with customers. The role will require some evening or weekend work to support product events and product demonstrations.

Acting as the main internal point of contact for technical support on DMM's Tree Care products the role will require close liaison with our external specialist tree care partners, Treemagineers, to ensure that we consistently deliver the highest level of technical support to customers.

As part of the technical sales team you will help shape our product range and provide input into the development of new products and systems with joint objectives of improving safety and efficiency in professional tree care.

The role will involve working closely with the sales and marketing teams to help influence how we market, sell, and deliver our products worldwide.

The role will report directly to the DMM International Sales Manager.

Role Responsibilities:



Review and optimise current business opportunities in the tree care market both in the UK and internationally. Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and strategic partnerships to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement targeted strategies that enable measurable growth in the tree care sector.

Actively engage with new and existing accounts to identify opportunities, answer questions, and support buying decisions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Product range analysis and recommendations; identify opportunities in the product ranges and recommend changes to increase market share and grow revenue.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business development initiatives and ensure seamless execution of joint projects.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.

Stay updated with industry developments and market trends to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Represent DMM at trade shows, training events, product demos, and retail visits.

Take the lead in updating and delivering in-house tree care training for the team.

Location



The role can be based remotely from the group's headquarters in North Wales but will involve regular travel both within the UK and abroad to build and maintain the brand's market position. It will also require monthly in-person meetings at the North Wales HQ.

Required Skills:



A good technical understanding of arborist and height safety equipment. 3+ years of working in a technical tree care environment would be ideal.

Effective communication skills, with confidence in phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Client-driven and sales aware, with a proven ability to convert conversations into successful sales.

Proven ability to work well with internal teams while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

The role will require a full UK Driving License.

Salary: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year basic salary depending on experience with a target focused bonus scheme.
