We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tree care and maintenance, ensuring the health and safety of trees in various environments. This role involves working outdoors, using a variety of tools and equipment to perform essential tasks related to tree surgery and landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
Assess the condition of trees and determine necessary treatments or removals.
Perform tree pruning, felling, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Dig and maintain planting sites for new trees or shrubs as required.
Build supports for trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including irrigation systems installation and upkeep.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools and machinery.
Proficient in using hand tools for various gardening and groundskeeping tasks.
Experience in landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and irrigation practices.
Ability to dig effectively while maintaining site integrity during landscaping projects.
Knowledge of tree biology and health indicators to assess tree conditions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients regarding their needs and project updates.
have minimum of NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39
