Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual with climbing experience to join our team on a sub-contract basis, with the possibility of employment in the future. We currently have an established business in Cornwall, but part of that business has recently relocated to near Whitby. We cover a wide range of work in Whitby and the surrounding areas; including tree surgery, brushcutting, knapsack spraying, tree planting and much more. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. With a growing business, we are looking for those with long term goals who would like to progress in their career. The role is x4 days a week, Monday-Thursday. Salary listed is indicative, but open to discussion due to the nature of the role.

Assist in daily operations Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication Provide excellent customer service Help maintain a safe and organised work environment

Qualifications

(Necessary)

Basic chainsaw (maintenance, cross cutting and at least small felling). Aerial Rescue Chainsaw from a rope and harness First aid +F Ability to work well within a team as well as independently A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Full, clean UK driving licence

Qualifications (Desirable)

Further chainsaw tickets e.g. medium trees, large trees, windblow etc Brushcutter Pesticides Chipper
