Job Title: Tree Surveyor

Salary: 15.00 - 17.11 depending on experience

Contract Type: 12-week temp to perm

We are recruiting for a Tree Surveyor to join a well know company based in Dumfries, this role would suit an environmental student, or someone that has experience with undertaking surveys.

You will be responsible for managing risks associated with trees near road networks and buildings. The role will include undertaking risk assessments and taking action where necessary.

Theis is a 12-week temp to perm role and you must hold a full UK driving licence.

The duties of the Tree Surveyor will include:

Conducting regular tree surveys Assessing tree safety and recommend removals if needed Recording data on mobile devices, focusing on Ash trees and Ash Dieback Disease Working along footpaths, tracks, and roads Collaborating in teams of 2-3 Providing data to help determine service rates Undertaking surveys on foot in various terrains Participating in office-based risk assessments
We are looking for a Tree Surveyor with:

A full UK driving licence No extensive experience required - training provided Quick learner with adaptability Good fitness level and situational awareness Computer literate and able to follow written plans Availability to work 5 days a week
In return you will receive a salary of 15.00 - 17.11 per hour depending on experience
