We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and organised individual to join our team as a
Triage Administrator
. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be confident liaising with patients, clinicians, and other members of the practice team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Review and manage incoming online triage forms submitted by patients each morning.
Assess and allocate triage requests according to clinical priority, directing them to the most appropriate clinician (GP, ENP, nurse, or other staff).
Communicate with patients in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring clarity and confidentiality.
Schedule appointments, telephone calls, and follow-ups as required based on triage outcomes.
Support the clinical and administrative teams by managing queries, messages, and appointment requests efficiently.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by scanning, filing, and updating information in the clinical system.
Handle incoming calls and emails courteously, providing information or redirecting queries appropriately.
Assist with other administrative duties as required by management.
