Overview


The UK Flexo Trial Coordinator will support technical projects, new product introductions, and process improvements by coordinating production trials and managing related documentation. This role is key to ensuring trials are carried out effectively, results are recorded and analysed accurately, and communication flows smoothly between departments and external stakeholders.

This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, hands on involvement in factory trials, and the ability to support the Technical Projects Manager in managing change, new product introductions (NPI), and issue resolution during the trial. The role sits within the Quality & Technical department and works closely with production, warehouse, procurement, PDM, quality, commercial, and R&D teams..

Duties



Trial Coordination

Plan, coordinate, and execute production trials, including communication with operations, quality, and supply chain teams. Support the creation and distribution of trial documentation including setup sheets, sampling plans, and trial schedules. Collect, record, and analyse trial data, ensuring all key parameters and results are captured Support the Technical Project Manager in root cause analysis, investigations, and reporting. Monitor trial outcomes to ensure specification requirements are met and feed results back to stakeholders. Provide sample management and support any required customer submissions.
Documentation and Systems

Maintain accurate records for trials, material specifications, and QC testing outcomes. Support data management through SAP, Flexnet, KMS (Knowledge Management System), and internal trial tracking tools. Assist in the creation and maintenance of TDS, COA, DOC templates, and other technical documentation as required.
Cross-site Collaboration

Maintain regular communication with the UK Flexo Technical Projects Manager and travel as required to support trials or other projects, as agreed with the Technical Projects Manager. Collaborate across departments (quality, operations, commercial, sales, and R&D) to deliver smooth product transition.

Experience



Knowledge of Print, Lamination and Slitting processes advantageous Previous experience in a quality, production or similar role. Min 5 years' experience in quality or manufacturing environments essential, preferably in flexible packaging.

High attention to detail with a proactive, hands on approach to problem solving.

Proven ability to work within cross functional and multi-site teams.

Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Desirable

Experience with SAP transactions and internal systems (KMS, Flexnet, SFDC, Lotus Notes) Understanding of packaging materials (e.g., laminates, films, adhesives). Familiarity with production and quality processes (printing, slitting, lamination, etc.). Experience supporting or coordinating projects or trials.
