Trough Casual Food & Drink Team Members
Job Description
Due to the continued evolution of our business Goosnargh Gin, we are looking to increase our casual staff team, for its sister Trough which launched in 2024.
This role will require you to work at our Trough at Chew's Yard location in central Preston, as well as potentially other locations across Lancashire and surrounding areas, as we provide catering and pop-up events as part of our Trough offer.
*You must have a genuine, personable and friendly manner, as this is a customer-facing hospitality role, focused on a first-class guest experience.
*A keen interest in food and drink is essential, as our close links with the produce we serve and the experiences we provide is at the core of our business.
*A readiness to learn more about our ethos, values, products, experiences and our story is a fundamental part of the role.
*You will need to share this with our potential and existing guests in a professional and enthusiastic manner to enhance their understanding - it's about relaying our passion for working with exceptional producers, sharing their products and delivering a quality experience.

Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate and co-operate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for every guest. Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, which are presented to a high standard at all times, while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist in food and drink preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen/bar area at all times. Pro-actively share information with guests, to enhance their experience with us. Planning, preparing and delivering events and experiences which deliver a high quality, personal customer experience.
