Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable self employed 7.5 tonne Truck/ Van Driver / Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver experience. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Supplier Deliveries

Accepting, checking and unloading material deliveries, ensuring paperwork is signed any discrepancies noted on the paperwork and signed by both JPC individual and Supplier driver. Paperwork then filed in reception.

Site Deliveries - either Luton van or 7.5 tonne lorry

Loading items manufactured by JPC and delivering them to the relevant site, ensuring all items are covered by a JPC Delivery ticket and duly signed by the Site Manager. Majority of sites are in the Midlands area, although we are increasingly making deliveries into London.

Forklift duties

Forklift duties as and when required for loading or unloading vehicles or transferring items around workshop to vehicles etc.

Housekeeping duties

General housekeeping duties as below :-

Lighting and feeding the biomass burners as and when required

Ensuring the yard is tidy of any rubbish or litter

Ensuring the Goods Inwards is kept tidy and the relevant people are aware of incoming deliveries

Making sure the stock of filled pellet bags that we sell is always replenished

Keeping each workshop and the mill clean and tidy if time allows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
