About the role:




We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trusts Manager to help grow and sustain income from charitable trusts and foundations, supporting PDSA's vital work to keep people and pets together when times are tough.


In this role, you'll manage and develop a portfolio of charitable trusts, securing funding through compelling, well-researched and tailored applications, while also identifying and cultivating new funding opportunities. You'll play a key role in delivering sustainable income that enables PDSA to continue providing life-changing veterinary care to pets in need.

We deliver over 2 million treatments every year and respond to more than 300 emergencies every day. The income raised through trusts and foundations is essential to helping us continue this work, now and in the future.

As Trusts Manager, you will be responsible for:





Managing an individual portfolio of charitable trusts to meet income targets and performance measures Researching, identifying and cultivating new and dormant trust prospects Developing high-quality, compelling and creative funding applications in collaboration with colleagues Matching relevant propositions to trusts through detailed research and creative proposition development Delivering effective contact strategies that maximise funding opportunities and supporter engagement Building strong relationships with trustees to ensure an excellent donor experience Ensuring accurate and timely data entry on PDSA's database Operating in line with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising codes of practice, data protection requirements and PDSA policies

We're seeking someone with:





At least two years' experience working as a Trust Fundraiser Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail A proven track record of securing high-value trust donations Experience working in line with CIoF, Fundraising Regulator and data protection requirements Strong planning, organisational and relationship-building skills Experience of trust fundraising for capital appeals is desirable but not essential.
Please note occasional travel will be required to our Head Office in Telford.
