isn't pro rata? Ready to make a real impact every day? Join Releasing Potential!
Releasing Potential is seeking passionate, committed tutors, to join us. Our success lies in recognising each student as an individual and welcoming them into the Releasing Potential community with unconditional positive regard. All our students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan, due to social, emotional, and mental health challenges that have hindered their access to education, resulting in challenging behaviour. We work in small groups or 1:1. The work can be tough, challenging and even frustrating at times, but the rewards of inspiring progress and achievements --no matter how small, like simply showing up--can be truly meaningful for our young people.

As a tutor, you'll:
Deliver our flexible curriculum and experiential education
Lead sessions that allow students to access education by engaging them outside the classroom
Build positive relationships with students to provide support and guidance to deliver to them the RP school curriculum
Ensure sessions are accessible and relevant to students needs
Model our practice using Glasser's Choice Theory that keeps five basic needs in balance, Survival, Lower, Power, Freedom and Fun
This is tough, rewarding work -- where the smallest wins can mean everything.
What You'll Need
A full current and valid driver's licence
At least 1 year of experience in special education/SEN
A solid understanding of SEMH, communication differences, and trauma-informed practice
A resilient, empathetic, and calm approach to behaviour and challenge
