Job Summary

We are seeking a Tutor to provide educational support and guidance to students in maths and English from age 4 up to GCSE level. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children or tutoring, possess strong communication skills, and be passionate about educating and empowering young minds.

We are looking to employ someone to work Sunday 9.30am - 12pm and Monday 3.30pm - 6.30pm as this is when we deliver in person tutoring.

Please note this is an in person role at our centre in Inworth in Essex delivering maths and English and it is essential that you have transport as we are not near good public transport links.

Duties

- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions

- Collaborate with the centre principal to deliver prepared teaching resources

- Assist students in understanding subject-specific concepts

- Record feedback on student work for the Principal

- Utilise creative teaching methods to engage students

- Support students with special educational needs where necessary

Qualifications

- Grade 7-9 GCSE English or maths

- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas

- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities

- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week
