The Role

We are currently hiring for a tutor based in

Coulsdon

or surrounding areas (e.g., Chipstead or Merstham, etc.) to support a

Year 9 student with their science attainment

.

Pay:

20 per hour

Location:

CR5 (student's home)

Commitment:

1-1.5 hours per week
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference through one-to-one tuition.

Essential Requirements

meet the following essential criteria:

Live within

30 minutes of CR5

(e.g., Coulsdon, Chipstead or Merstham, etc) Experience working with children or young people (e.g., as a tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, youth worker, mentor, etc.) Access to a

printer

-- while we provide most materials, tutors are occasionally expected to print resources Educated to

degree level

(desirable but not essential)*
Professional

experience in a school

(desirable but not essential)*

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home Build strong rapport and trust with the student Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs Track progress and tailor future sessions accordingly Inspire confidence and a love of learning in your student
