JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a tutor. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong academic background, and the ability to connect with students of various ages and learning styles. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalised teaching and support to students on a one-to-one basis or in small group settings. You will help students develop their understanding of subjects taught, improve their study skills, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. This role requires patience, adaptability, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

We are looking for tutors in these subject areas:

Primary School tutor

(EYFS, KS1, KS2): Maths, GPS, Reading & Creative Writing*

11+ Tutor

(Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning & Non-Verbal Reasoning)

Secondary school tutor

(KS3 English/Maths & GCSE)

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Provide high-quality, individualised teaching to students based on their unique learning needs and goals. Plan and prepare lessons and learning materials tailored to each student's learning style and ability. Adhere to the 2014 National Curriculum in England. Continually assess students' strengths and weaknesses to identify areas for improvement and development. Motivate and encourage students to stay focused, engaged, and confident in their abilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in education, the subject area of expertise, or a related field (preferred but not essential). Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent international qualification with appropriate experience (preferred but not essential). GCSE qualifications in subject area of expertise, or a related field. Previous tutoring or teaching experience. Strong knowledge and proficiency in the subject(s) being taught. Demonstrate personal responsibility and initiative. Working knowledge of Primary National Curriculum /EYFS Framework/ KS3 National Curriculum/GCSE skills & targets (whichever is applicable) Must be based in Dartford, Bexley and/or surrounding areas.

Pay: 27.00-37.00 per hour
