The studio involves a one-week field trip to a city in the Arab Maghreb where the studio will be based, when students engage in thematic research and site analysis, concluding the semester by developing an urban or architectural language informed by the conceptual, contextual, and environmental concerns identified.

Architectural Design Studio D, Semester 2

Applicants should be familiar with the structure and delivery of the Architectural Design Studios within the Master of Architecture at ESALA. The studios are typically of 20 students. Ability to work within a team with a collegial attitude, respect and sensitivity toward students and other staff members.
