Role Overview

We're seeking motivated, patient, and effective tutors to deliver one-to-one or small group tuition at our Tower House location. You will support students across different levels and subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science, or other curriculum areas), helping them improve grades, study skills, and exam readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs Assess each student's starting point and identify gaps Monitor and track progress; adjust strategies accordingly Provide feedback to students (and where applicable, parents) Prepare relevant resources, worksheets, and practice materials Maintain records of attendance, performance, and lesson notes Support exam preparation (GCSE, A-levels, entrance tests) Foster a positive, motivating learning environment

Requirements / Qualifications

Degree or strong academic credentials in your subject area Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred Excellent communication skills Strong organisational and planning ability Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for student progress DBS check (or willingness to obtain) Ability to travel to Tower House, Finsbury Park area

Desirable Attributes

Experience with exam board specifications Use of technology / online teaching tools Ability to teach multiple subject areas or levels Familiarity with differentiated instruction
