Achieve Tuition is a new and ambitious tutoring centre opening in the heart of Cape Hill, Smethwick. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalised education that helps every student reach their full potential. We offer tuition for KS1-KS4, 11+ exam preparation, and GCSE & A-Level subjects across Maths, English, and Science, as well as specialist subjects depending on tutor expertise.

We are looking to build a strong team of dedicated, passionate tutors who are experienced, reliable, and committed to supporting student success.

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to deliver engaging lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. You will work with small groups or individual students, helping them strengthen subject knowledge, improve exam technique, and build confidence. This role is ideal for university students, graduates, qualified teachers, and experienced tutors who are passionate about education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to KS1-KS4, 11+, GCSE or A-Level curricula (based on your subject specialism). Provide clear explanations of key concepts and guide students through exam-style questions. Support learners in developing strong problem-solving, comprehension, and analytical skills. Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, feedback, and tracking systems. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and ability levels. Prepare students for school assessments, GCSEs, A-Levels, and/or 11+ entrance exams. Maintain a supportive, motivating learning environment. Communicate progress updates to students and parents/guardians when required. Stay informed about relevant curriculum changes and exam board requirements (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, GL, CEM, etc.).
Requirements:

Strong subject knowledge in one or more of the following:Maths, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), 11+ Preparation, or A-Level Subjects. Experience teaching or tutoring (school, tuition centre, or private tutoring). Understanding of exam boards, specifications, and assessment styles. Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and build confidence in learners. Optional but desirable: Teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) or tutoring certification.
