We are seeking

responsible, adaptable, and personable tutors

to join our small, friendly team. We work with students preparing for

11+, 13+, and GCSE exams

for London independent and grammar schools, so experience teaching these age groups and exam levels is highly desirable.

About the Role

You will be tutoring students either

in person or online

, helping them achieve their potential across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for individual students. Support students with preparation for:

11+ entrance exams

- Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

GCSE exams

- Maths, English,

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computer Science

(and other subjects where appropriate). Track student progress and provide constructive feedback. Communicate clearly and professionally with parents about progress and next steps. Manage your time effectively and maintain a consistent lesson schedule.
Requirements

Degree-level education

(minimum). Tutoring or teaching experience (11+, GCSE or similar). Strong subject knowledge Good understanding of

11+ exam formats

and

GCSE syllabuses

. Enhanced

DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one). Excellent communication skills and an encouraging, approachable manner. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for planning lessons. Self-employed or willing to register as self-employed.

Pay:

From 25 per hour (depending on experience). Flexible hours - you choose when you work. Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' confidence and academic success.
