The Role

We are currently hiring for a tutor based in

Horley

or surrounding areas (e.g., Smallfield or Salfords, etc.) to support a

Year 3 student with their English attainment

.

Pay:

20 per hour

Location:

RH6 9XX (student's home)

Commitment:

1 hour per week
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference through one-to-one tuition.

Essential Requirements

Please read carefully -- applicants

must

meet the following essential criteria:

Live within

30 minutes of RH6 9XX

(e.g., Horley, Smallfield or Salfords, etc) Experience working with children or young people (teaching assistants, teachers, childcare practitioners or nannies etc.) Available for 1 hour each week on

any weekday evening after 4 pm

for the sessions. Access to a

printer

-- while we provide most materials, tutors are occasionally expected to print resources Educated to

degree level

(desirable but not essential)*

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home Build strong rapport and trust with the student Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs Track progress and tailor future sessions accordingly Inspire confidence and a love of learning in your student
