Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and curiosity. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement. Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of various age groups. Strong understanding of special education principles and practices is desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports the academic and emotional well-being of students. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed in their educational journey.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.45-42.80 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
