Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of various ages and backgrounds. This role involves providing tailored support to enhance students' understanding of subjects, boost their confidence, and help them achieve their academic goals.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects. Develop personalised lesson plans and learning strategies based on individual student needs. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that promotes academic curiosity. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational principles. Experience working with children in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and empathy. Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students and parents alike. Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential while fostering a love for learning.
