We are seeking an experienced tutor to support a Year 9 student who requires focused Maths

and

English tuition. We are open to either:

? One tutor covering both subjects
or
? Separate tutors for each subject

Tuition is currently required for

1 hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons

, with the intention to increase frequency and/or duration quickly once settled.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, structured lessons that support progress toward Year 9 targets and prepare the learner for the transition into GCSE-level work. Session plans, progress monitoring, and consistent communication with our provision team will be required.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

Strong subject expertise in English and/or Maths Experience tutoring Key Stage 3 students (ideally Year 9) Ability to differentiate learning to support engagement and progress Reliability and professional communication standards Previous experience working with young people
