Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles. Develop personalised lesson plans that align with the educational goals of each student. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Communicate effectively with students and their families about academic performance and areas for growth. Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with teachers and special education staff when necessary to support students with diverse needs. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance and progress reports.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children of various age groups. Strong understanding of educational principles and techniques, including special education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically. Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles. Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.
